Shree Shyam Stretch Film

Shree Shyam Stretch wrap or Shree Shyam stretch film is an extremely elastic plastic wrap that is stretched around various products (such as pallets of boxes) for shipping and transportation. The elastic recovery or stretchability of the film secures the products and ensures they are tightly bound. Stretch wrap loads are more secure which minimize shipping damages. UVI stretch films can protect products stored outdoors from UV rays. Strong opaque films conceal load contents and reduce instances of pilferage. Stretch films keeps products free of dust, moisture and dirt.

Stretch-wrap films are commonly made of PE (LLDPE, VLDPE, Plastomers), but also PVC is used. Critical properties of stretch wrap film are elastic recovery and break strength, but also cling, puncture resistance and optical properties are very important.

Advantages of Using Stretch Film:

Stretch film is designed to adhere to itself without the use of adhesives; the film has a high coefficient of friction. It can prevent a package from sliding when a stack of product is handled. The prevention of sliding may not be an asset when the high friction creates handling difficulties for people, or sliding difficulties for certain types of machine handling. Stretch wrap is generally used to secure goods on a pallet for transportation. Stretch wrap film is pulled around the load and stretched. The plastic has a memory and wants to return to its original size. This "elastic band effect" holds the load tight.
